The 1st team currently play in the Midland Football League – Division One, Step 6 of the Non-League Football Pyramid. The Copses have been members of the league since its inception in 2013 and have had promising league campaigns in the past 3 season with 12th and back-to back 11th place finishes respectively alongside winning the Coventry Telegraph Cup in the 24-25 season.
This was achieved whilst giving opportunities to JFC players to shine and develop and as of the start of 2026, 30 players who came through the JFC have made first team appearances in the previous 3 and a half seasons.
