Match Preview: Copses VS Bilston
MFL Division One
07/03/26 - 15:00 KO
Allard Way, CV3 1JP
Adults £5, Concessions £3

Bilston Town are the visitors to Allard Way on Saturday afternoon for our Midland League Division One fixture.

The Copses come into the game on the back of a strong start to 2026 earning 10 points from a possible 15 with the pick of the punch being an away win at OJM that ended the hosts' 16-game unbeaten run.

The reverse fixture saw the hosts run out 4-1 victors with George Steele scoring our only goal in the game.

Over the years we have had some memorable wins in this fixture including our 5-0 win at Queen Street back in August '22 as well as some entertaining 3-2 victories. First in August '23 where the Copses played the majority of the second half with 10 men and defender Joe Anthony in between the sticks and in January '25 where the Copses prevailed due to a brilliant Peds hat-trick!

Hopefully another memorable win is in store on Saturday at Allard Way, and we hope to see you all there to cheer on the boys!
