Smethwick Rangers are the visitors to Allard Way this Saturday for our annual Copsewood Day fixture where any JFC families, former players and club sponsors receive free entry to the game.
The Copses come into the game hoping to get back in the win column after a disappointing 3-1 loss at home to AFC Bridgnorth on Tuesday night, although despite the result Copses striker Archie Gallacher treated all in attendance to a moment of magic when he scored from the halfway line for the third time this season!
So far this season, the games between the two sides have been split to a win apiece, with the Copses winning away at the Amber Arena in the league thanks to a late Ryan Pedley wonderstrike whilst Smetwhick ran out victors via a penalty shootout in our league cup tie.
It is sure to be another entertaining game between the two sides this Saturday and it would be great to see a good turnout for the big day, and we hope you all stay afterwards at the club for some food, a beer and to cheer on the Sky Blues in the late kick-off.
