The Copses: Retained Pt.1

Joe Miles, Daniel Lole, Alex Barnett, George Steele and Alfie Smith are all staying on board for the 26/27 MFL Division One season!

JOE MILES

Captain Joe joined us at the start of last season from Nuneaton Griff going on to make 42 solid appearances at the back for the Copses, scoring one goal in our away victory at A&NP.

DANIEL LOLE

Danny, a left sided defender, is a JFC graduate, Telegraph Cup winner and member of the Copses 100 Club. 133 appearances, 12 goals in total including an impressive seven in the 22-23 season.

ALEX BARNETT

Alex, who operates anywhere across the forward line, joined us towards the end of the 24-25 season. Since then, he has made 45 appearances for the Copses, scoring 4 goals including memorable strikes in our away victories at Griff and OJM last season.

GEORGE STEELE

George, like Alex, can operate anywhere across the forward line, and was ever-present for the Copses last season after joining from Atherstone making 46 appearances, scoring 6 goals.

ALFIE SMITH

Central midfield Alfie has already made 60 appearances for the Copses despite only being 18 years of age. There were many top performances amongst the 45 he made last season, including the match winner in the A444 Derby.
